At Flower & Garden we are busy creating Santa’s Grotto in preparation for the Abbeville Christmas Fayre on 15 December.

We are looking forward to seeing many of our local Abbeville Road customers and friends at this very local event, organised by the Abbeville Road shops for the local community to enjoy.

Flower & Garden on Abbeville Road is overrun with cheeky chickens: the perfect Christmas present for that hard to buy for loved-one!  Each chicken is hand crafted at the Streetwires workshop in Cape Town, a social enterprise that gives training and employment for over 120 local wire and bead craft artists.

Customers and friends enjoyed inspiration and expert gardening advice at our open evening in November.

Tips on window boxes and winter garden care were shared, before our expert gardener Katie Nott demonstrated a ‘bulb lasagne’ – a smart way to layer bulbs to create long lasting spring colour.

As the Prosecco flowed, our friends, family and customers mingled and chatted in our candlelit back garden, shared with our neighbours, beauty salon ‘Whispers’ who were also partying that night.
